One of my favourites for both my children (now 5 & 8) for over a year now. Using the busy book to develop their foundation for pairing, numeracy & money both kids are very competent and confident with budget their money. However they get it (birthdays/chores etc), they are able to count how much they have, if they are saving for something in particular they work out how much they need or when making a purchase they calculate how much change they will have depending on what they buy. I absolutely love seeing how the skills of the busy books translate into life skills they will have forever.
An amazing resource for homeschoolers or those wishing to reinforce what has been learnt at school. Suitable for 3 – 8/9 year olds depending on abilities.

Perfect to support our learning
We have just begun to explore the pairing numeracy money book and already itâ??s been a big hit! I feel itâ??s the perfect timing for our just turned four year old to further expand on his knowledge and development and to also assist in the yearly big transition to school. It covers so many topics in such an engaging way!

Great for teaching abstract concepts
This book is fantastic at targeting things like opposites, rhyming, categories and detecting patterns! Great for children who are expanding their vocabulary while also working on less concrete concepts. Kids love this book and have so much engagement – love it!

This book is amazing for learning a range of mathematical concepts – my 3yo is not quite at this developmental level with her delay, however loves to give it a shot! She loves to ask me what/how to do the activities.

My 6yo James has eagerly used this book throughout his first two years at school. He now particularly loves using the â??Pairing Numeracy Moneyâ?? Book to learn about counting money and also enjoys being challenged with fractions. This book consolidates his learning of mathematics in Year One and strengthens his knowledge at home in a fun and engaging way. Thankyou!

Pairing, numeracy and money caught mr7 eye immediately when we got iur busy books, he loves all things numbers so it was right up his alley. The part that stumped him for a tiny bit was the money activities as we are in NZ and the busybooks have AUS currency he was like the money doesnt look right but it was a great way to compare and talk about different currencies around the world.

So pleased we discovered this. My 4 yr old loves it

I am a private tutor. I purchased this busy book to assist some of my students as I prefer ‘hands on’ learning. The students love the Busy Book as it is interesting and different to other resources they have used.

We love ALL our busy books and this one is no exception. These books are great for children who benefit from lots of repetition including young children and children with disabilities. This book is great because it teaches early maths skills beyond simple counting and shapes etc. I love that this is an Australian product and teaches Australian money. So many great resources are from overseas and don’t teach our currency.

I have purchased seven of the busy books and needless to say, I love them! The hands on experience, fun and educational activities, allows children to learn while having fun. My son is ASD and giving him a hands on approach to learning is paramount, these busy books have aided his learning experience.

We use this book for my five year old. He has a keen interest in numbers and has started asking lots of questions about money. Itâ??s a great way to support his learning and introduce concepts. I love that he can independently complete these activities and they help him think of more questions to ask

What an amazing tool
We are homeschooling and this book along with the many others we have been using has been a fantastic resource. My son has made amazing progress using his busy books … it’s user friendly and kid friendly and we love that it comes with spares and so beautifully boxed to keep it from getting damaged and keeping ourselves organised so we don’t misplace anything!

All the foundations
As a part time primary teacher, I always try to make sure the activities we do at home have an element of educational. All of the incredible busy book range are bang on with ticking that box, however this one in particular has been a fave of ours. One of the great features of this book (any more of the others) is the foundational skills are being built on progressively throughout the book, starting with the basic concepts and leading onto trickier, more abstract skills that require the kids to implement things they have learnt. That means that my kids have used these books over a number of years depending on their levels and capabilities. We love busy books!

I used this Busy Book with my five year old son who was showing increased interest in counting and adding, and reinforcing his learning from Preschool. I love that when he showed this interest I was able to just grab this book and work on this content with him without much preparation. The book does it for you. Whether it’s a starting point or practice, it’s great to be able to just open the book and set up your child for success in learning. He loves these books too. The simple act of seeing the page completed keeps him so eager to continue to work through this book. We began with the number sequencing, and I had intended to only complete one page, but he insisted on completing all sequencing pages. As a teacher I am so grateful for the ease and age-appropriateness of these books. And even more grateful for their durability when it comes to my younger son getting to them with his determination to learn numbers now too!

Another winning book! My son can count to ten (mostly consistently) so I love being able to develop his numeracy skills with basic addition and subtraction. The fun pictures in the book keeps my son engaged while learning and practising these basic concepts. While he can count out loud, this Busy Book has also been great for number recognition! I like to mix up the velcro numbers to make sure he has an understanding of the numbers rather than just rote learning.

A fantastic resource to learn how to identify and add money. An additional resource for rhyming with learning about pairs and basic numeracy skills. Fantastic for a range of ages with many concepts to learn and engage with. Use alone or with other resources for sensory play and as an additional resource as reference or to extend upon with the skills learnt within this busy book.
