Buy a Book for:

18 months – 3 years old

Our two starter Busy Books are our Colours Shapes Patterns Busy Book and My Little Farm Busy
Book. Our Busy Books are all designed on a learning gradient so as to challenge your children
over a number of years or stages. Some activities may be “easy” for them, however this is ok as
it builds confidence for them and encourages them to move onto the more challenging activities.
Please keep in mind that your child may need you to sit with them the first few times they work
their way through the Busy Book, giving them reassurance that they are on the right track and
verbalising what the cut out pieces are so as to build their vocabulary.

Colours Shapes Patterns

The Colours Shapes Patterns Busy Book is full of 20 fun interactive activities designed on a repetitive learning gradient. The Colours Shapes Patterns Busy Book introduces your child to the fundaments, helping them to recognise colours, match colours, learn shapes and start recognising and creating patterns. As an extra bonus there are two great activities based on emotions to help little ones with recognising and understanding the emotions and aiding in emotional regulation. This Busy Book is a great resource for those looking to work on speech and increasing vocabulary due to the the multiple activities on colours and shapes, two common themes found all around our children in their every day lives. The Colours Shapes Patterns Busy Book is suitable for ages 18 months to 3 years of age depending on abilities. Some children may not be ready for Busy Books until around 2 years of age as they may still be included to put the pieces in their mouth around 18 months. A good guide as to when they are ready is not putting everything in their mouth and when you start to see them showing an interest in colours and or shapes. We recommend that you start working through the Busy Book with your child to assist them where needed, for you to say out loud the colours and shapes so they can associate the name of the colour and shape to the activities in the Busy Book, and therefore increase their knowledge and vocabulary.

My Little Farm

The My Little Farm Busy Book is another fantastic Busy Book suitable for children aged 2-5 years of age depending on abilities. The My Little Farm Busy Book has 21 fun interactive activities focusing on animals on a farm, what farm animals eat, where they live, sounds the make, learning what a fruit and what a vegetable are, what products farms produce, sounds of letters, basic math and basic writing and drawing skills. This Busy Book is also designed on a learning gradient and has some simple activities suitable for 2 – 3 year olds and a number of more difficult activities suitable for 4-5 year olds. A great Busy Book for children learning to talk as everyone loves farm animals, and also a great resource for children getting ready for school with the basic math and writing skills.

Alphabet Numbers Writing Skills

The Alphabet Numbers Writing Skills Busy Book has 20 fun interactive activities designed on a learning gradient. This Busy Book is perfect for introducing the alphabet, numbers, prewriting and writing skills, and letter and number recognition. The Alphabet Numbers Writing Skills Busy Books is also fantastic to reinforcement at home of these skills learnt in preschool and school. Suitable for ages 3-6 years old depending on abilities.

My Body Mindfulness Time

this Busy Book together. “Our Busy Books have been a huge game changer since we received them 6 weeks ago! In this short time we’ve seen so much positive change in our 4yo James - improvement in concentration, problem solving skills, recognition of both upper and lower case letters and their sounds, even grip strength and stability with the pen.”

“As a teacher this is always an activity that I thought id set up myself for my girls but I have never had the time. The books are great with all the pieces numbered so you know which page they belong too and a really sticky Velcro so they don’t fall out. They are such a great activity to have when your out and about to keep the kids occupied! Highly recommened!!!”
