"Ashton was 2.5yrs when I purchased the farm busy book. Ashton is neurodiverse, and is a very busy child. He doesn’t often stop and sit down. This changed when we brought our first busy book!! We have used it with our OT and Speechy, we take it on long trips, to doctor’s/specialists appointments, and he will even run back and forth to the book when we work on it in the lounge room at home. I love that the books progressively become more difficult, so to stay relevant as they grow. I could not recommend busy books enough! I’m ordering him a new one for his birthday and can’t wait

My son Max is 10 years old and has Severe Intellectual Disability, Severe Autism and Global Development Delay. Max is not able to hold a pen or pencil and learning has always been difficult. A friend told me about busy books and I can’t believe how amazing these books are. It makes me so happy to know that people care enough to make these books to help our children learn differently as they can’t learn like others. Max absolutely loves these books and the little answer squares are easy for him to pick up and stick on to the Velcro and Max has very delayed fine motor. These books are helping Max’s fine motor skills and we are so surprised at what Max knows when he is presented with the learning in a different way. This busy book is amazing for when your child is starting to be interested in the physical would around them. The months, days, time and weather and different clothing suited for different weather types. My 3yo struggles with this book as she has a significant delay, however she loves to give it a go!

We received our copy of â??My Body Mindfulness Timeâ?? today and it has already kept Miss 10 busy for the past hour, winning! Even though these books were crafted with younger children in mind, theyâ??re just as valuable for primary school-aged kids as they are for toddlers and preschoolers. Like many other homeschool families, we do not always fit into the standard boxes when it comes to our learning journey. Busy Books are a fun and tactile way to revisit areas of learning your child may be struggling with or areas you wish to revisit.
In the book weâ??ve just received â??My Body Mindfulness Timeâ?? Iâ??m really looking forward to incorporating the â??Acts of Kindness Bingoâ?? and â??Daily Yogaâ?? sections into our regular routine. I am a sucker for anything farm themed so was excited the receive this book. My son loves this one. It has so many different activities and skills taught with cute farm animals. The activities are: matching real animals to cartoon animals, matching images to their shadows, matching babies to their families, what animals eat, where animals live, animal foot prints, animal sounds, classifying mammals and birds, initial sounds, sorting by size, sorting fruits and vegetables etc. This book would be great for preschoolers, kindergarteners or special needs kids working on those skills. As a homeschooler, this book complements our Science, English and Maths curriculums.

This buzy book is excellent, one of the first buzy books i brought over a year ago and is still much loved by my 6 year old boy, it is a great resource to teach kids their emotions and feeling, body, road safety, days and months, weather and time. Highly recommend, we brought most of the buzy books and they are fantastic, extensively used daily at home and even on road trips, they helped my son focus and sit with them at one go for atleast 40 minutes, my son has learnt a lot from these books and they are justt amazing.

Definitely covers a wide range of skills and abilities- so some activities he can do and others he can’t, but it’s a great resource that we’ll come back to. My son has had so many challenges throughout his early development. As a child that suffers dyspraxia â?¦ typical learning activities such as writing and drawing has had its challenges for him. We felt typical learning resources held him back academically and also really took a hit in his confidence. Since finding these Busy Books has truly changed his life. This is probably the busy book that my now 6 year old and almost 3 year old like the most. My son was farm obsessed so it was perfect for him but too easy for him now. However, we still use it to give him some easy wins and confidence boosts and for nostalgia as it was our first busy book and started my obsession with them.

We have 5 busy books now and my little one uses them almost every day and itâ??s always a feature when we have other kids over – everyone loves them. This book in particular is great to connect little ones to emotions and their feelings/experiences. Would highly recommend. We donâ??t do screen time and he isnâ??t yet in childcare and the books have provided us with more structured learning which is great for him, but also for me!
