The last few Months, Memphis & I have been loving exploring and extending our Busy books. They have been perfect for Car rides to visit family, along with extending it into our play based learning. After having Xander (6m) busy books has allowed me to be able to multi task Feeding and continue to engage with Memphis during Play.

There packaging is amazing for storage and the extra cut outs are perfect for when Memphis hides pieces on us.

Well worth the investment for your little ones.

We received our Busy Books about a month ago and they have been used every day since! Whether at work (Iâ??m a paediatric Occupational Therapist), or at home by my almost-2-year-old!

The books are incredibly well made and the spare pieces are a lifesaver! All of the pieces are also numbered making it super easy to resort them all. The activities are all so different and fun, and target fine and gross motor skills in a fun way!

We have loved using them to teach our little man about colours, and he has particularly loved the fish sorting activity. He has been unwell for probably 3 of the past 4 weeks, and these books have been amazing for keeping his spirits up!

These books are worth every penny and I would highly recommend them to any parent or paediatric therapist!

  3. Nikita Austin

Being a speech pathologist to lots of little ones, I rejoice when I find resources that are great at targeting multiple goals. The busy books do just that, and the best part – my clients love them! Winner!

I was searching for something like this for a little while, then i came across Busy books australia and ordered the printed bundle. When they arrived i was apsolutely blow away with the content inside. My little man (2) has been now using these for a few months and his confidence around, numbers, patterns, shapes and colours has gone through the roof. We have started learning to recognise the alphabet and our Busy books has been our number one learning tool used. We can proudly say we love our busy books and for anyone thinking about purchasing these, they are 100% worth it.

We have just begun to explore the pairing numeracy money book and already itâ??s been a big hit! I feel itâ??s the perfect timing for our just turned four year old to further expand on his knowledge and development and to also assist in the yearly big transition to school. It covers so many topics in such an engaging way!

  11. Angie – Mum to Charlie

I knew this would be loved by our boys, but I was underestimating just how much! It is so versatile and open for extended learning and play it perfectly supports the ages and developmental stages of both of them, and has been facilitating shared play where they get along! Amazing!

I originally purchased this for my five year old autistic son who is such a visual and tactile learner, what surprised me is how much my 8 year old loves it as well, I often find her in her room practicing telling time and exploring the emotional regulation pages- so many areas for so many age ranges – they are such beautiful quality too.

  19. Carla De Pasquale

Absolutely love this book! It’s with me 24/7 whether I am working in the clinic or on the road (at schools, kinder’s or homes). The book is so versatile and can be used to address goals relating to emotional regulation, community access, executive function, body awareness etc. It’s a winner for me and all my clients! Highly recommend adding this to your resource collection!

  20. Carla De Pasquale

Love this book and everything it targets! I mainly use it to support children to developing an understanding of community safety and services. I love how it has a range of activities (ie: consecutive pages) all addressing similar concepts with a slightly different approach. This means children (particularly those who struggle retaining information and understanding new concepts) can progress through the book and receive heavy repetition, which supports them in consolidating their understanding and learning. I also love the construction drawing and writing pages, to work on children’s visual motor integration and visual perceptual skills. Such a versatile and creative book!

  21. Rachel

This book is fantastic at targeting things like opposites, rhyming, categories and detecting patterns! Great for children who are expanding their vocabulary while also working on less concrete concepts. Kids love this book and have so much engagement – love it!

  22. A.N.

The Busy Books Bundle provides so many opportunities for learning a range of skills in a fun and engaging way! These resources have been a staple in my sessions when working with children!

  23. A.N.

The My Little Farm Busy Book has been wonderful in promoting pretend play with the children I work with! It’s been great as a starting resource to create stories and characters in play!

  24. Marisa

My clients have been loving this new addition, such a fun way to incorporate pretend play and introduce some new concepts including sorting and initial sound identification with young kids!

  25. Marisa

My clinic recently acquired this busy book and it has been the perfect addition to our collection! Such a great way to discuss people in our community and developing a child’s understanding of a range of people they may encounter in life! These books are always fun so there’s never any trouble with compliance from my clients when i bring out a busy book!

  26. Max O’Loughlin

    Thankyou so much BUSY BOOKS!!!!
My son Max is 10 years old and has Severe Intellectual Disability, Severe Autism and Global Development Delay. Max is not able to hold a pen or pencil and learning has always been difficult. A friend told me about busy books and I can’t believe how amazing these books are. It makes me so happy to know that people care enough to make these books to help our children learn differently as they can’t learn like others. Max absolutely loves these books and the little answer squares are easy for him to pick up and stick on to the Velcro and Max has very delayed fine motor. These books are helping Max’s fine motor skills and we are so surprised at what Max knows when he is presented with the learning in a different way. These books are by far 100% the best learning tool Max has engaged and learned with yet. Thankyou for creating the perfect product for our special needs children!!!!

We have children aged 0-9 and these books are amazing for all ages! There are activities they can work through independently and ones that challenge each of them. I love the wide variety of themes and content covered too, in fun and engaging ways for children ❤️ I know these are going to get a lot of love at our house, for a long time!

  38. Laura

Originally purchased for my hard of hearing 3 year old with speech delays, these books have quickly become a resource for the whole family.
My 7 & 8 year olds love working through these as well, and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching all 3 of them sit down together to â??playâ? with the books.
It has allowed me to see how much more my 3 year old is understanding about his world than I was aware of, and he is loving the activities (especially the construction book!)
Working through these books have become a frequent part of our family routine, and we are enjoying sitting down together after dinner and doing some activities before bed.
Kylee was so personable with her service and advice, and Iâ??m genuinely blown away by these products. I have shared these with our daycare and family members who work in education, as these resources should be in schools!
