Kara is a passionate high school science teacher with an enthusiasm for making science fun to all kids. She has worked for more than 10years in high schools teaching junior science and Earth and Environmental Science. Kara had also been apart of an early transition programs for primary school students starting the high school science journey.

Kara has completed a Masters of Teaching and a Bachelor of Science with a major in Marine Geoscience and Geography. Her passion lies in Geology and Environmental Science.

Kara is a mum to two boys, Arlo 5 and Finn 2 and also has a third on the way. She is passionate about learning through play and introducing simple scientific concepts into early education for her boys. Kara believes that the foundation for science learning starts before children even start school.
